Know your costs. Understand your margins. Price with confidence.

A six-sheet Excel model of your product's complete unit economics. Enter your costs, your retail price, and your expected sales, and it calculates your landed cost, your margin at every step, the price a target margin requires, your break-even point, and the cash a production run ties up. Every key figure is scored against common DTC benchmarks, so you can see where your product stands before you commit to stock.

What do I receive with my purchase?

You'll receive one Excel file (.xlsx), containing six worksheets plus a step-by-step guide tab. The calculator includes built-in formulas, instructions, and explanations to help you understand the inputs, calculations, and results. Your purchase is delivered as an instant download and includes lifetime access to the file.

Do I need advanced Excel skills?

No. You only need to enter your own assumptions in the designated cells, then everything else calculates automatically. Every input has a short note beside it explaining what to enter, and the How to Use tab walks through the six sheets in order.

Does it calculate VAT / sales tax?

The main calculations use a tax-exclusive retail price. You can however enter a tax rate to account for payment-processing fees charged on the tax-inclusive transaction amount. It's not a tax tool and doesn't handle reporting or filing.

Will it tell me exactly what price to charge?

No. It'll calculate the minimum retail price required to achieve the margin targets you enter. Your final pricing decision should also consider positioning, customer demand, competition, and brand strategy.

What currency does it use?

The calculator is currency-neutral and doesn't convert between currencies. Use the same currency throughout. For example, if you pay your supplier in one currency and sell in another, convert the figures before entering them.

Do I need an existing business?

No. You can use estimated costs, supplier quotes, and sales assumptions while planning a product, then update the calculator as you gather real data.
